A Campground Host is an individual or couple, over the age of 18, who are willing to be ambassadors of the State Park System for other visitors, without pay. A host will work approximately 20 hours per week in exchange for a free campsite, electrical hookup and use of area’s shower facilities, where available.
Volunteers play a vital role in sustaining the treasure that is Nebraska State Parks, providing thousands of hours of service each year. Opportunities are available across the state for a variety of short- and long-term projects.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is looking for volunteers to become certified hunter and bow hunter education instructors.
